Well hello 2nd trimester!

Finally made it to the 2nd trimester, how exciting!  I look forward to this time because I finally want to eat again! Great thing big sister Ella keeps my busy so it goes by alittle faster. I am enjoying every minute of being alone with her right now. She is my princess and love her so much!! She is getting so big and talking up a storm! She has her own personality to say the least and I love it! My next post will be about Miss Ella and her most recent updates :) Here's to 14 weeks!

How far along? 14 Weeks

Maternity clothes?Oh yes, maternity clothes came much sooner for baby number two. I am still getting to wear one or two pairs of pants that I had that had been big still. Im slowing getting into all maternity pants though because they are just so much more comfortable! Shirts are the same way.
Stretch marks? Nope
Sleep: Sleeping ok.  I'm prob up 2-3 times to go to the bathroom right now. And if Im not up by 6 or so Peanut wakes me up hungry.
Best moment this week: getting to eat some more without feeling yucky.
Miss Anything? I've really missed laying on my belly!  Miss coffee and sweets.
Movement: Maybe alittle butterflies.
Food cravings: Not much yet actually. Still eating a bit bland. I did have a Sonic Hotdog craving for about a week or so. Anything making you queasy or sick: Still not loving coffee, sweets, and cant eat much grease.
Have you started to show yet: Yep. 
Gender: Not finding out, gonna be a surprise!!

Expecting!

We found out we are expecting our second bundle of joy in February! Ella is going to be the best big sister ever, I cant wait to watch her with the new baby.  Of course she will be the baby until then :) 

We like to refer to Baby D#2 as "Peanut"right now since we don't know the gender.  So far pregnancy has been alittle rough. Felt pretty yucky the first trimester which is expected considering I have had the worst stomach my entire life!  As I'm ending the first trimester (knock on wood) I'm feeling better! I can definitely say this little baby bump has popped out faster than the first but that is to be expected I guess. 

We got to see our sweet little peanut at about 9 1/2 weeks and it was very exciting! His/Her first photoshoot is below. I also put a comparison of Ella and peanut at this stage. They were both dancing and moving like crazy! Doesn't look like I will be having any calm children :) At our last apt on March 21, we got to hear peanut's heartbeat. It was about 158 and the nurse could tell he/she was running.

New Blog!

I decided to start a new family blog so I can attempt to keep tract of our precious "growing" family!! Matt and I are still doing the same thing, I'm a high school counselor and Matt is a firefighter.  Ella Rae is 16 months now and getting so big and smart! She is perfect in everyway, despite her bit of stubborness which we like to call character. (No idea where she got that from!)  We are expecting a new baby in September and we are so excited! So here goes nothing, updates on the life of the Dorsey's! Which will prob be more like updates on Ella and Baby D#2 :) Enjoy!
